Community, Industry and REX Highlights
Recognized worldwide as the top choice for ADR in the Northwest!
A couple very important (and fun) parts of our core business here at REX. ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) and utilizing ISDN or Source Connect to patch in and work live with studios and productions companies around the world.
In the case of ‘Strike Back’ Philip happened to be in the NW, the production company (Left Bank Pictures) is located in the UK. So when Left Bank Pictures started looking for a qualified studio in the NW to bring the two together “REX was the obvious choice”, something we’re very proud of!
So for an hour or two Russ worked with some very tired production people in the UK. If you’ve worked with Russ you know Philip was in on mic in the next room, producers in the headphones, video on screen, we worked on lines for episodes 7 & 8, season 4.
Like many days at REX while Russ was working on ‘Strike Back’ we were shooting a corporate video in studio one (literally dropping cinder blocks on doors). Editing a series of videos for a worldwide company we can’t talk about in edit room two (the bat cave), and wrapping up deliverables on another video project in edit room one. On a lesser note I had the opportunity to pick up sandwiches for everyone (except the guys in the UK).
